Day 1: ARRIVAL IN MOGADISHU
Upon arrival in Mogadishu, guests receive immigration assistance and transfer to a secure hotel. The tour begins at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, followed by visits to the Old Parliament Building and Casa del Fascio. At Liido Beach, enjoy a boat ride, shoreline walk, and meet locals by the Indian Ocean. Explore Mogadishu Mall and Hamarweyne Market, then relax at a rooftop café overlooking Mogadishu Cathedral. Continue to Peace Garden Park, a lively family spot, and end the day at AAIA Beach near Aden Adde International Airport, where sunset views and plane landings create a stunning finale. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: MOGADISHU-KISMAYO- GOB-WEYN
Start with breakfast, then depart for Kismayo. Upon arrival, receive immigration assistance and check into a three-star hotel. Explore Kismayo City, then head to Goobweyn village for riverbank views. Enjoy lunch under coconut trees and fresh coconut juice. Afterward, take a boat ride where the Jubba River meets the Indian Ocean, spotting birds along the way. Return to Kismayo for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: KISMAYO- KANDAYUU ISLAND TOUR
Full day excursion and sightseeing.
Day 4: MOGADISHU DEPARTURE-GAROWE-EYL
Start with an early omelet breakfast, then head to the airport two hours before departure due to flight unreliability. On arrival in Garowe, our team handles immigration and arranges the 225 km drive to Eyl, passing nomads and grazing livestock. Stop at Salaam village (60 km) for traditional lunch and camel milk tea. Catch the sunset en route to Eyl, divided into Badey (shoreline) and Daawad (hills). Check into Eyl Resort for seafood dinner, followed by a Qaac gathering with live music, campfire, and night movies.
Day 5: EYL TOUR -GAROWE
After breakfast, guests tour Eyl’s colonial sites, villages, Sayyid Abdullae Hassan’s fortified building and base, the open-air museum, and Eyl Garden. They’ll hike to a stone-shaped seat atop the mountain—please wear hiking shoes. The tour ends with swimming and a boat ride at the beach before returning to Garowe through scenic, wildlife-filled landscapes. Upon arrival, guests will go directly to Hiddo Raac Heritage and Cultural Centre. Finally, they’ll head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Garowe.
Day 6: DEPARTURE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out. Our team will transfer you to the airport for your Ethiopian Airlines flight. Please note: no sightseeing is scheduled for the final day.
