Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Mogadishu
Upon arrival in Mogadishu, our team will assist you with immigration procedures before transferring you to your hotel for a briefing on your stay. After a delicious local lunch, embark on a city tour, exploring the lively Hamarweyne Market, stopping at Mogadishu Mall for coffee or tea, and enjoying a boat ride at Lido Beach. Visit the Unknown Soldier Monument before returning to the hotel to unwind. End the day with a delightful dinner, preparing for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Day 2: Warsheikh Tour
After breakfast, Travel to 65 km along the scenic coast to Warsheikh City, passing fishing villages and small towns. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Warsheikh Beach, a stunning stretch of white sandy shoreline with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and relaxation. Explore the Alifuuto Nature Reserve for wildlife spotting and walk through the desert to meet Somali nomads. Visit an ancient mosque and the revered graveyards of Sufi Sheikhs, where annual gatherings venerate heritage and spirituality. Return to Mogadishu, reflecting on the landscapes and cultural encounters.
Day 3: Day 3:Mogadishu Tour
In the morning, explore Mogadishu as your tour begins at 8:40 AM with a visit to the fish market, followed by the Italian Lighthouse and a walk through Hamarweyne, the city's oldest neighborhood. While there, stop by a souvenir shop, where you can browse traditional Somali crafts, textiles, and handmade artifacts that reflect the country’s rich heritage. Drive through Bakara Market, observing the Black Hawk Down target building and helicopter crash site from inside the vehicle. Pass through Shangai Old District, before driving past the former U.S. Embassy, where visible bullet holes on the front walls mark its history, and Somali families now live. The faded U.S. flag on the wall remains a silent witness to past events. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Lido Beach, then visit a camel camp, learning about Somalia’s 10 million dromedary camels, vital for pastoralism and milk production.
