I did already several trips with Sahan Tours in Somalia and they fulfilled all expectations and even more… they did not only guide perfectly in Mogadishu including locations that are normally not open for tourists like the National Theatre (including a dancing and singing performance), but also could guide us to destinations far away from the capitol, like Kismayo in the south (and a nearby fantastic island), Baidoa in the center or Warsheikh, the beach village to the east of Mogadishu. Everywhere they organized unforgettable lunches with seafood, turtles, of course also Italian specialties from the colonial past like Spaghetti and local Pizza! Under other circumstances Somalia would be a touristic paradise at the Indian Ocean - Sahan is trying to transport that feeling as far as it is possible now… enjoy a fantastic country!

I can’t speak highly enough of Ahmed. He and his people looked after me literally from the moment I arrived until I left. The tour was amazing - the fish market, taking a boat out in the clear blue ocean, and seeing the Black Hawk crash site were all just awesome. it’s such a pity so few people visit Mogadishu it can be done and is beautiful. The hotel was safer than safe. And Ahmed and his team were great company and very knowledgeable. First class
