Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Day 01 : Arrival in Hargeisa ( Somaliland)
Arrive in Hargeisa, where our team will provide pick-up and immigration assistance for a seamless entry. Check into your hotel and explore the city’s markets and livestock trade if time allows. Stay overnight at Damal Hotel or similar accommodation.
Day 2: Day 02 : Hargeisa-Laasgeel-Hargeisa
Start the day with a visit to the livestock market, then explore the Laas Geel caves, home to prehistoric rock art dating back over 5,000 years. Discovered in 2002, the site features ancient paintings, lithic tools, and burial mounds. After exploring, return to Hargeisa for an overnight stay at Damal Hotel.
Day 3: Day 03 : Hargeisa-Mogadishu ( Somalia)
After breakfast, Departure to Mogadishu. Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will assist you, Somaliland visa to works in Mogadishu before transferring you to Safe zone 3-star hotel for a briefing. Next, you will go city tour in Mogadishu Drive along Makka Almukarama Road, visit Mogadishu Mall and Hamarweyne Market, stop at the Unknown Soldiers Monument, and relax Popular Lido Beach with coffee, a scenic walk, and ocean views.and then return to hotel for an overnight stay in Mogadishu.
Day 4: Day 04 : Full Day Tour In Mogadishu
In the morning at 8:50 AM, start the day with a visit to the Central Fish Market in Mogadishu, the city's largest, where vendors trade a variety of seafood, including sharks, turtles, tuna, kingfish, and blue marlin. Explore the Mogadishu Lighthouse, an iconic Italian-built structure, before strolling through Koodka neighborhood, known for its century-old buildings. Continue to Shanghai Old City, a district reflecting Mogadishu’s historic charm and home to the old U.S. embassy. Visit Bakara Market, followed by a drive past the Black Hawk Down crash site and abandoned tanks, offering insight into the city’s past. Conclude the tour at Lido Beach, where a delicious seafood lunch awaits, accompanied by breathtaking ocean views.
Day 5: Day 05 : Mogadishu-Garowe-Eyl ( Puntland)
Start the day with an early breakfast at the hotel before heading to the airport two hours before departure for a smooth check-in. Upon arrival in Garowe, our team will assist with immigration and arrange a 225-kilometer drive to Eyl, passing through Nugaal region, where nomadic communities herd camels, goats, and cows. Stop at Salaam village for a traditional Somali lunch, followed by organic camel milk tea, a refreshing local specialty. Continue the journey, aiming to catch the breathtaking sunset before arriving in Eyl, a city divided into Badey, near the shoreline, and Daawad, on the hilly side. Upon arrival, check into Beachview Hotel and enjoy a seafood dinner at Mama Aisha Guesthouse.
Day 6: Day 06 : EYl-Garowe
Wake up before sunrise and climb the Italian Lighthouse Fort for panoramic views. Have breakfast at Mama Aisha Guesthouse with goat liver and Anjeer (Somali pancake). Visit Daarta Sayidka Fort Known as Mad-mullah by the British https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chm4hdyVPwI, Eyl Garden, and the stoned throne of Said Abdulla Hassan, wearing hiking shoes for the hilly terrain. Explore the open-air art museum, then swim and take a boat ride at Eyl Beach. Return to the hotel, check out, and travel back to Garowe, stopping at Salaam village for a meal before arriving in the evening Garowe, If time allows, visit Hiddo raac traditional Resort, Note: This is an adventure trip, so prepare with hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for the terrain and activities.
Day 7: Day 07 : Airport Droff Off-Departure
After checking out, if you're interested in a brief tour of Garowe, we can arrange it, time permitting. Then, arrive at Garowe Airport at least two hours before departure, where our team will assist with immigration and boarding for your Ethiopian Airlines flight. Safe travels!
